August 6 – 93rd Annual Norwin Community Picnic
Where: Irwin Park, Irwin, PA
Time: 3:00 PM
Celebrate community pride with food trucks, bingo, children’s games, craft vendors, local entertainment, a duck race, and 93 prizes! Free to attend.
August 8 – Backyard Games: Duck, Duck, Goose and Parachute
Where: Soccer Field, Oak Hollow Park
Time: 10:00 AM
A FREE outdoor program for kids ages 12 and under.
August 9 – Kids’ Back to School Art Party
Where: Art and Soul Studio
Time: 1:00-4:000 PM
A creative day for kids to craft and paint back-to-school themed projects.
August 9 – Live Music at Derry Community Pool
Where: Derry Community Pool, 425 E 3rd St
Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Enjoy live music while you swim! Included with regular pool admission.
August 9 – Twin Lakes Free Summer Concert
Where: Brian T. Rusnock Amphitheater, Twin Lakes Park
Time: 6:30 PM (7 Mile Run) and 8:30 PM (The Lyin’ Hearts)
Free outdoor concert – bring chairs and enjoy food trucks on-site.
August 10 – 2nd Annual Wags Memorial Car Show and Swap Meet
Where: Harvest Hill Venue, LLC
Time: 11 AM - 5 PM

Time: 11:00 AM (1 hour)
Create back-to-school cookies while enjoying a beverage.

Mid-August – 70s Night at Greenhouse Winery
A retro-themed night with wine, food, and 70s music. Adults only check the winery calendar for the date and tickets.
Weekly – Keystone State Park Farmers Market
Where: Keystone State Park Parking Lot
Time: 10 AM - 2 PM
Enjoy fresh produce, baked goods, and artisan items lakeside. Open every Sunday through August.
August 29 – September 1 – 32nd Annual Pennsylvania Arts and Crafts Labor Day Festival
Where: Westmoreland Fairgrounds
Time: 1-5 PM
Over 200 artisans, food vendors, and entertainment for the whole family. Great way to kick off Labor Day weekend.
August 31 - Labor United Celebration
Where: Northmoreland Park
Time: 11 AM - 7 PM
End August with two days of music, circus shows, crafts, flea markets, rides, and games.
