Meet Michael Waltenbaugh

My Business Philosophy is pretty simple, be honest & respectful to everyone & treat everyone how I would want to be treated. Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions of your life and that can not be taken lightly. I also feel it is my responsibility to be available to my clients when they need me so I make every effort to answer all forms of communication in a timely manner (within 5 mins if possible). You are trusting me to be apart of this huge life changing decision, so I make it a point to be there for you as much as possible, day and night. 

Education and Training:  I attended high school at Highlands, then joined the Marine Corp Reserves. After boot camp & MP training I continued my education at CCAC & then transferred to Indiana University of Pennsylvania. While in college I focused my education on Criminal Justice. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice in 2005. I worked 6 years as a police officer and enjoyed my time there & cherish the friendships I made. I had always been interested in Real Estate so I finally decided to take a chance in the world of Real Estate & signed up for classes to get my license in 2014. I completed the classes & passed the licensing exam & received my license in June 2014 & joined the Coldwell Banker family.

Personal Background:  To me family is the most important thing & I try to spend as much time with them as I can. I met my wife in 2005 after I returned from my 2nd deployment and we married in 2011. When we decided to start a family we wanted to live in the city (which was required of city police officers at the time), so I resigned after 6 years and we moved to the North Hills. I love the city of Pittsburgh but the North Hills is a great place to live. My wife and I had our first baby, a girl in 2013 and our 2nd, a boy in 2017. We moved to Mars in 2021 and had our 3 child, another boy. The 3 of them keep my wife and I busy!  In my free time, when I can find any, I enjoy hiking, biking, fishing and hunting. We also love taking the kids to North Park and Moraine State Park as well as visiting the multiple city destinations that are great for kids and adults alike, such as the zoo, museums, aviary or just walking the river walk.  Communities I Serve: I love to work in all areas of the city and surrounding areas but I do specialize in the North Hills Area (Gibsonia, Allison Park, Wexford, Cranberry, Mars, Middlesex, North Hills, Shaler/Glenshaw and West Deer. I also work a lot in my home town areas of Natrona Heights, Freeport/Sarver, Lower Burrell, Oakmont and Kiski
